Description
Finca Los Naranjos is named after the Los Naranjos Canton in Sonsonate where it is located. Bourbon, pacamara, geisha, pacas, and catimor varietals are grown beneath shade trees on around 15 hectares. After harvesting, it is washed and dried at Beneficio San Rafael at their own wet mill.
El Salvador coffee doesn’t get as much recognition as other Central and South American coffee growing countries but we’ve found that their coffee tends to be sweet and bright in flavour and deserving of more recognition. These beans are of the geisha variety which is renowned for its delicate sweetness. Grown in other countries it can reach astronomical prices so this presents a lower cost opportunity to try this coveted varietal.
